Senior Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities Include engineering/design of vacuum coating equipment (vessels,
pumping systems and fixtures). Experience in vessel and machine design, vacuum
pumping equipment selection and thermal analysis are required. A BSME degree and 5
to 10 years experience are also required. Experience with Solidworks is required.

Mechanical Engineering Manager
Manage a group of engineers, designers and draftspersons. Fast paced environment with strict deadlines and fixed cost. This is a small engineering driven, manufacturing company producing custom high tech machinery. Work with electrical and process engineers to develop custom machine solutions. Position requires direct communication with both customers and manufacturing personnel. The M.E. manager reports to VP of operations.

Minimum BSME degree and 10 years relative experience require. Prior exp. in an engineering management role is a plus. Knowledge of machine design, stress analysis and thermodynamics required. Solid background in mechanical or machine design is required. Must be familiar with “Solid Works” and have experience producing design level and manufacturing level drawings. Prior vacuum system or optics experience is a plus. Experience with FEA software is a plus.

Electrical Designer
Responsible for Electrical design of vacuum coating systems. Experience in
designing process control cabinets, electrical power distribution systems and
instrumentation drawings. Generate electrical schematics and developing bills of
materials. Two years experience using AutoCad. PLC programming experiences a plus.

System Test Technicians
Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical assembly, test and troubleshooting of vacuum coating systems for customer acceptance. Minimum 4 to 6 years of vacuum system controls experience required along with good analytical skills, problem solving and communication skills.

Welder / Fabricators
Responsibilities include fabrication and assembly of stainless steel vacuum
chambers and various machined components. Previous stainless steel fabrication
experience is required along with the ability to work independently from
mechanical drawings.

Customer Service
Responsibilities include daily customer telephone contact. Ability to coordinate
/maintain customer spare parts orders. Must be self motivated with excellent
communications skills. 2-5 years previous experience dealing with customers is
required. Engineering, technical training or previous vacuum experience a plus.
