Mechanical Engineer
VPT is a small, growing, engineering-driven company producing custom high tech machinery for the solar and vacuum process industries.  This position involves working with electrical and process engineers to develp custom machinery and solutions for these high tech industries.  This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has an interest in the process side of vacuum and optical coatings, and wishes to be a part of a fast growing engineering and R&D group.  An internship position will be considered. 

Minimum BSME degree (MSME preferred).  Knowledge of machine design, stress analysis and thermodynamics required.  Must be familiar with “Solid Works”.  Prior vacuum system or optics experience is a plus.  Experience with FEA software is also a plus.
